Day151

Day151, originally uploaded by J.Lee.Photo.

I started off experimenting with some tutorials.
And none of them worked on my image like they did in the tutorial.
I also am dying to learn a tutorial of the globe or earth face. Here's a link: Earth Face Photoshop!

Who can drink who under the table?

Day 150.
My first HDR. What a day to get my first one! And still..not that good. I learned that all the cool super HDR's that I've seened are from PhotoMatix..and not CS4. So i'm not willing to pay for photomatix.

day 143 of 365.
I was speaking to a local photographer - a colleague and friend of mine. We were talking about how sometimes, many times, actually, that photography is more about luck than skill, knowledge, or ability.

This is an example of one of those shots.

I just love how it came out..it communicated so much emotion.

shameless plug ... or desperate photo op?

Day 137 of 365.
It's amazing how good a white tile floor can make a professional looking studio set up for small subjects.
just sayin'

Skechers...Gotta love 'em.

Day 136 of 365.
I love these shoes.
Comfortable, heavy, and solid.
And I also found out with this shot...that I can't take the shot that I imagined without the help of another photographer.

The things these hands have done...

The things these hands have done...

Day 134.
Life is tiring, right? At least 2 times this week, I fell behind in this project. I've read about that, and some people just catch up the following day and everything's cool. So I followed that approach. I fell behind because i"m very busy. Being very busy makes you feel very tired.

My Facebook!

My Twitter!

So, I persevere in this endeavor.

I used a true 2:1 aspect ratio.
F1.8
1/80
Flash bouncing off the nearby wall.
Lightroom for editing.
Photoshop for touch up..and tone burning.
And I used my hand..as a prop. ;)
